Where is Amed Roda Spa located?
We are on Jl. Bunutan - Bangle, Bunutan, Abang, Karangasem, East Bali, Indonesia — along the Amed coast road, minutes from Amed Beach, Jemeluk Bay and the Bunutan guesthouse strip.
How much do spa packages cost?
Packages range from IDR 410,000 for the 95-minute Roda Shining Fresh Body Scrub to IDR 960,000 for the 3-hour Roda Sparkling Pearl. Prices include all natural ingredients, the flower bath ritual, welcome drink and post-treatment ginger tea or Jamu. There are no hidden fees.
Do I need to book in advance?
Walk-ins are welcome. However, for sunset slots, weekends and couples treatments we recommend booking via WhatsApp at least one day in advance. Direct bookings receive 10% off the first treatment.
What is included in each package?
Every package starts with a warm foot wash ritual and includes your chosen massage, scrub and/or mask, a flower bath or bathing ritual, body moisturizing, and a closing drink (ginger tea or traditional Jamu).
What is Balinese massage and how is it different?
Balinese massage blends deep acupressure, long kneading strokes, gentle stretching and warm aromatherapy oils. It is firmer than Swedish massage and more flowing than Thai massage, designed to release tension and restore energy flow.
Is Balinese massage painful?
It should feel like 'good pressure', never pain. Our therapists always adjust intensity to your preference — just tell them if you prefer light, medium or deep pressure.
Do you use artificial fragrances or chemicals?
Never. We use 100% natural ingredients: fresh flowers, sea salt, chocolate, lavender, tropical fruit and cold-pressed oils. This makes our treatments suitable even for sensitive skin.
Can couples book treatments together?
Yes. Our Desire of Love package is designed for couples, and side-by-side rooms are available on request. Evening slots until 22:00 on weekends are popular for sunset rituals — book early.
What should I wear during the treatment?
Wear whatever is comfortable. Our therapists are professionally trained in draping etiquette; you remain covered at all times except the area being treated. Disposable underwear is provided for scrubs and baths.
Should I tip the therapist?
Tipping is not expected but always appreciated. IDR 20,000–50,000 per therapist is a kind gesture if you loved your treatment.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens — just message us on WhatsApp at least 3 hours before your appointment to reschedule free of charge. No-shows for prepaid bookings may forfeit the deposit.
How do I get to Amed Roda Spa from Ubud, Canggu or the airport?
Amed is 2.5–3 hours from Ubud and the airport by car. We can help arrange a driver — just mention it when booking. Free parking is available on site.
